Rimini Fiera born after the Second World War to support the local tourist economy, the Fair of Rimini has become over the time a major player in national and international exhibition market. In the period 2001 / '02 the direction of the fair has emplimented a decisive action to rise at the top level by developing  one of the most modern and advanced pole in Europe, transformeing the autonome Society in a private company (Rimini Fiera SpA). In 2004 it has opened its capital to private shareholders, who currently hold 15% of the shares.

Rimini Fiera organizes its work today in 4 distinct sectors: Hotel & Food Industry, Technologies & Environment, Entertainment & Leisure, Travel & Tourism. With more than 30 events a year, of which 11 are international branded, the fair of Rimini is constantly expanding. Even the numbers of this pole certify the above assumption: 109.000 square meters of gross exhibition space, 59mila square meters of facilities, 16 single-storey pavilions, an operations center, three press rooms, 20 meeting rooms adaptable, 3 free-flow, 11.000 parking places equipped with camper service. Not forgetting the services provided by the 10 eateries and two restaurants.

The events organized in Rimini Fiera are many and varied. They range from Planet beers till Sigep (International Saloon for glaces, Pastry and Bakery), from Seafood Exposition (International Exhibition of Technologies and Products of Fisheries) in Bowling Event (the first exhibition dedicated to the sport) to Ecomondo, an event dedicated to material recovery, energy and development.
